'On The Avenue' THE place to stay in NYC!

I recently returned 'home' to NYC and decided to stay at a hotel and treat it like a resort trip. Choosing OTA was THE best choice I could have made. Dollar for dollar, you won't find a better, more luxurious stay for your money. The staff (Ashley at check in to Jessie at check out) were so helpful and friendly and the attention to detail really caught my over critical design eye. After a week of staying at various hotels in the north east that were comparatively priced, it was a welcome relief to check in to the luxury of OTA! Kudos to the staff and all involved in OTA!

OK, Friday at midnight is just a few strokes away on the ballroom clock and it's time for all the travel guru contestants to jump into their pumpkin carriages and return home to await the results! Best of luck to ALL round 2 contestants as we wait for the big announcement! It's been quite an experience being in this competition but it has done much to bring Gaytravel.com and the needs of the GLBT traveler as well as the straight traveler's need for info to the fore front. Kudos to Gaytravel on a job well done with a contest that NO ONE could have predicted the enormity of! See you on August 28th....I hope!

Gay, straight or somewhere in between, FUNNY IS FUNNY! With no gender lines or barriers to cross, humor has the ability to make us look at ourselves differently or just plain crap your pants from laughing too hard. I vote for the latter!

If you are in the LA area, this Wednesday night, July 28th, take a trip down memory lane, or should I say, "lapse" of memory lane and catch The Apple Sisters crazy good show, "Oh Craps!" with guest appearances by some good ol' "Jersey Boys"! The sisters take it to the streets of Sin City in this latest show and scheme their way from buffet to buffet and try to dodge the mob while simultaneously handling live food items AND singing and dancing....and that's only the first 5 minutes! Seriously though, this all original show is a hoot with a "golly gee" sensibility...well, almost! It's just too hard to explain so, GO SEE IT:
